In our never-ending mission to keep our prices competitive, Metal Cutting Specialists keeps its office staff as small as possible. Processing a multitude of orders daily and keeping track of them can be an overwhelming task for just two people. With this in mind, following these suggestions will help insure your order is processed quickly and efficiently.

Shipping and receiving hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Although the shop is usually open till 6:00 p.m., it would help significantly if your delivery could be at our facility no later than 5:00 p.m.
All material delivered to MCS should be accompanied with a purchase order with specific cutting instructions -
Specific instructions should include the following:
1.
Material type, this the single most overlooked item. We need this information to correctly set the feeds and speeds of the machine to cut your material as efficiently as possible.
2.
All dimensions in decimals, inches and/or fractions.
3.
The purchase order should have the amount quoted and the name of the salesperson that it was quoted by.
4.
Please be sure a phone number and contact name is on the purchase order, just in case we have any questions.
5.
If it is a repeat job please list the previous price and instructions (or print) each time the order is placed.
6.
Sometimes a simple hand drawn sketch can help us cut your order efficiently.
Here is just one example:
Cut this block into 4 equal pieces.
As you can see there is more than one way to make 4 equal pieces. Please be specific.
Following these steps will help us process your order quickly and accurately. With the wide variety of work that we do, there will always be unusual instructions. Please do add any out of the ordinary instructions that your job requires.
